An education with Little People Day Care and Kindergarten will give your child the confidence and creative outlet to grow up with the skills needed for success. Toddlers Program - 16 to 33 months

Our toddler program is designed around the understanding that at the age of 16 months, each toddler is now developing new ways to express their need to interact with parents, friends and teachers. Toddlers are encouraged to make independent choices, develop self-help skills and begin to solve problems. 

Preschool Program - 3 to 4 years

Our preschool program focuses on school readiness with a structured weekly curriculum that teaches art, science, math, writing and social skills. Our educators help to strengthen each child's decision making and self help skills in a safe supportive classroom environment.

CLASSROOMS

Each classroom is set up to allow students to grow individually and as a group in the learning process. 

Pre Kindergarten Program - 4 to 5 years

The pre-kindergarten program prepares each child for the critical transition from preschool to kindergarten. The program assures that each child will be ready for the academic and social challenges of the kindergarten classroom. Our weekly structured curriculum focuses on developing, sharpening and reinforcing art, science, math, writing, reading and social skills.

5 to 6 years

Our before and after school Kindergarten program educationally stimulates each child by focusing on reading, writing, mathematics, scientific discovery, social and emotional development, technology and creative projects. We pick up where the school leaves off.

6 to 12 years

Our before and after school school-age program focuses on supporting your child's education. We provide a homework and computer area to help make your child's studies easier, and we encourage teamwork and problem solving throughout the classroom.

Head Start - 4 and 5 year olds

In addition to our standard preschool programs, we also offer access to the Head Start program via our partnership with the Chicago Public School Systems’ Early Childhood Education Program. Head Start, which provides a sound foundation for achieving positive child outcomes, is a comprehensive child development program that encompasses all aspects of development and learning for children aged 4 and 5.
